Growing up between the East Coast of Florida and the San Joaquin Valley of California, Rick has always believed that he was fortunate to have the best of both worlds growing up and never took for granted the gift of being able to call these two amazing states home. Rick has a true passion for the South West Florida lifestyle and when he is not busy working, you can bet that you will find him on his boat exploring all of the many beautiful islands, back bays, and hidden gems along the SWFL coastline. Rick is a proud father of one son and twin daughters (both of which currently attend FGCU). Rick is an Army veteran formally stationed in Fort Bragg, NC as an Airborne Combat Engineer. During his time in the Army, Rick had the opportunity to travel to several states and overseas countries including Panama and The Dominican Republic. One of his most memorable experiences was when he jumped with the Dominican Air Force and earned his Dominican Jump Wings.

After his time in the military, Rick started his own paving company at the age of 21 in the Charlotte, NC area and has spent the last 23 years in the pavement industry where he specialized in National Account Pavement Management. During this time, he built a strong reputation as a dedicated business owner, teacher, and trusted Pavement Consultant. Rick’s solid reputation in the paving industry was built on passion, integrity, honesty, hard work and his strong desire to enhance the lives of those around him.

Rick brings these same work ethics into his Real Estate career and will always consider himself as more of a Real Estate Consultant as opposed to a Sales Agent.
