Social Southwest Florida: Best July 2023 Events
Fireworks are bursting overhead as Southwest Florida is heating up with another busy month of activities!
Hi, it’s Marcus Larrea with Palm Paradise Real Estate and here is your list of events you won’t want to miss happening around Southwest Florida in the month of July.
There are celebrations happening throughout Southwest Florida to celebrate Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4th. Head to Red, White and Boom in Cape Coral, the 4th of July block party in Downtown Fort Myers, Paradise Cove in Naples or the St. Pete Pier for their respective 4th of July celebrations! Most of these celebrations kick off at somewhere around 5pm and end around 10. You can find more information about them in our blog post.
On July 7th and 8th, head to Downtown Fort Myers for the return of Art Walk! The event features local and national artwork in several galleries and art stops in the Fort Myers River District. This event will be back the first Friday of every month between 6pm-10pm.
On July 15, head to Fifth Avenue in Naples to escape land while cruising out to see unspoiled coastal island sanctuaries and more with a Pure Florida Eco Tour. Head into the Ten Thousand Islands to see mangrove Forrests that are home to a variety of birds, manatees and dolphins. You’ll also visit cape Romano to see the Dome homes off Marco Island. End the day by beaching on the pristine white sand beaches to hunt for seashell treasures to bring home. Tickets and info is in our blog post.
On July 29th, head to downtown Punta Gorda for “All Car, Car Show” from 10am-2pm. The event is perfect for car enthusiasts to showcase their prized possessions and connect with fellow car lovers. With cars ranging from vintage to modern day supercars, there’s something for everyone to admire. This event is Free to the public and more information is in our blog post.
Also on July 29th, head to St. Petersburg’s Vinoy Park for the Odyssey Music Festival! It’s the festival’s second yer and features all forms of music, dance, live visual artists, a vendor village and much more! The waterfront festival runs from 2pm to 10pm.
